Why does it make sense that the looking for group channel is only available in cities? Wouldn't people want to look for raids while they are questing or farming? Maybe if the channel was available outside cities, it would actually get used, instead wow gold of trade being used to look for groups. Blizzard has said before that it doesn't want LFG to be a global channel. If it did become a global channel, it'd be used for even more off-topic discussion amongst everyone on the server (or so Blizzard reckons, and I tend to agree here).
As computer games create more and more "virtual worlds" online with their own rules and economies, developers who create add-ons, guides and real-world markets for game content are finding themselves at legal odds with game makers. The channel did exist like this for a time, and it wasn't a pretty place. It was as if 4chan invaded WoW.
Companies like Blizzard Entertainment, the creators of "World of Warcraft," are turning to courts and copyright claims to stop those who would sell in-game objects and currency for real-world money, or those who make their own add-ons to exploit the game, legal experts say. The majority of writers have other gigs in addition to WoW Insider. Some of us have a couple of editorial positions here and elsewhere, etc. ... Speaking only for myself, I work here, at a place called Tecca, and on a super-secret project I'm not going to talk about yet.
The lawsuit, filed in www.wowwiki.com/www.flywowgold.com January in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh, alleged that Holland's website offered an unauthorized copy of the game; that he developed an automated program to gather resources and build a player's virtual empire even when that player is not online; and that he created a program that scans Evony's computer servers to map out resources and other players. Has Blizzard ever held any sort of item creating contest before? Nope, but that's a good idea. Here's hoping someone over at big blue reads this and thinks it's a good idea, too.
